Pekat Group Berhad has been named in the prestigious Forbes Asia Best Under A Billion 2025 list, placing the Group among 200 outstanding publicly listed companies across the Asia-Pacific region.
The annual list recognises high-performing companies with annual revenue between US$10 million and US$1 billion that have demonstrated strong growth, profitability and resilience despite challenging market conditions.
Pekat was one of only nine Malaysian listed companies selected for the 2025 edition, alongside several of the country’s most successful publicly listed companies.
According to Forbes Asia, companies were evaluated using a combination of financial performance indicators, including sales growth, earnings growth, return on equity and prudent financial management. Additional qualitative assessments were also conducted, including governance, business sustainability and operational integrity.
The recognition reflects Pekat’s continued growth across its renewable energy, power distribution, power protection and operations and maintenance businesses, while reinforcing its commitment to delivering innovative engineering solutions that support Malaysia’s energy transition.
Being included in the Forbes Asia Best Under A Billion list represents an important milestone in Pekat’s corporate journey and highlights the Group’s growing presence among leading companies in the region.
