Pekat Group Berhad has received approval from the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) for its proposed transfer from the ACE Market to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
The approval was granted through a letter dated 3 November 2026, pursuant to Section 214(1) of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007. The SC also acknowledged that Pekat has fulfilled the Bumiputera equity requirement applicable to public-listed companies following its listing on the ACE Market.
As part of the proposed transfer, Pekat previously disclosed a market capitalisation of approximately RM2.06 billion, based on its five-day volume-weighted average market price of RM2.898 as at 30 October 2026.
The Group also recorded a public shareholding spread of approximately 58.38% of its issued share capital, held by 3,276 public shareholders with holdings of at least 100 shares each.
Since the Group’s debut on the ACE Market on 23 June 2021, Pekat has continued to strengthen its presence across solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, earthing and lightning protection (E&LP), and related electrical infrastructure solutions.
The SC’s approval marks an important milestone in the Group’s corporate journey, reflecting its continued development and progress since its public listing. The proposed transfer is also part of Pekat’s broader efforts to strengthen its corporate standing and support its long-term growth ambitions.
Pekat will continue to fulfil the relevant regulatory and procedural requirements in relation to the proposed transfer and will provide further updates as appropriate.
