Pekat Group Berhad, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Pekat Solar Sdn Bhd, has entered into a 15-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad to develop and operate a rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system at Dutch Lady’s facility in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.
Under the agreement, Pekat Solar will design, construct, install, own, operate and maintain a 3.96MWp rooftop solar PV system that will supply renewable energy to the dairy manufacturer’s operations. Commercial operations are expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The project, with an estimated value of RM23.04 million over the concession period, further strengthens Pekat’s position as a leading provider of clean energy solutions while supporting Malaysia’s transition towards a lower-carbon future.
The collaboration reflects the growing demand among corporations for sustainable energy solutions that deliver both environmental and long-term operational benefits.
